Netizens commented on the fall from 2:30 pm and shared the hashtag #whatsappdown. The subject quickly became one of the most commented on the platform.
“Today, earlier, we had a technical instability that made it difficult for people to access some Facebook services. This issue is already resolved, ”said the Facebook spokesman, in a statement sent to G1.

The website DownDetector, which gathers complaints, registered a peak of problems on WhatsApp from 2:30 pm, with more than 20 thousand reports.
The service also showed more than 18,000 complaints about the functioning of Instagram.
